About the model
How is this different from a maid agency?
An agency chooses someone for you and charges a placement fee, usually a month's salary, every time you hire. We give you direct access to profiles, you choose and speak to the person yourself, and you pay once for access rather than per hire.
Do you take a share of the salary?
No. You pay the person you hire directly, and all of it goes to her.
Why do I pay before I speak to anyone?
Because what you're paying for is access to the profiles and direct contact. Once you have someone's number, the access has already been provided. In exchange, you never pay per hire, however many times you need to.
Subscriptions and payment
What do the plans cost?
Maid plans are ₹7,500 for three months, ₹12,000 for six, and ₹22,000 for twelve. Full details are on the pricing page.
Hiring
What if the person I hire leaves?
Go back to the profiles and choose someone else while your plan is running.
What if she doesn't turn up on the first day?
Choose someone else. It's also why calling two or three people at the start, rather than one, is worth doing.
Trust and safety
Should I do my own checks as well?
Yes, especially for childcare or anyone living in your home. Call a previous employer, meet her in person, and run a short trial if you can.
Coverage
Which areas do you cover?
All 14 Kerala districts, plus Malayali staff for families in Bangalore. Availability is deepest in Ernakulam, Trivandrum and Kozhikode.
Is every service available everywhere?
No. Medical escort is Ernakulam only, and some categories are thinner in smaller districts. Each district page says what's available there.
